Terms and conditions SOIC PAAM

Unless expressly stated otherwise the following definitions shall apply to the terms used in these terms and conditions:

(1) SOIC Ship Management AB whose principal place of business is at Pir fyra 2, 417 63 Gothenburg, Sweden (hereinafter referred to as "SOIC").
(2) Applications are processed online via SOIC instance of the PAAM Event Management Software (hereinafter referred to as "SOIC PAAM").

General

You must be over 18 years old by the commencement date of signing on the ship.

Medical requirements
To be accepted to sail on The Swedish Ship Götheborg, you will have to fill in a health declaration confirming that you are in good physical and mental health, and that you fulfill the medical requirements to participate in work on board. For the professional crew we require a Swedish health certificate for seagoing personnel. For more information about the medical requirements we refer to our website.

Data Security

SOIC will process your personal data in accordance with the data protection legislation, GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your unique password and account information and for controlling access to your email communications at all times. If you lose control of your password, you may lose substantial control over your personal information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf. Therefore, if your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately notify SOIC and change your password. By creating and using your PAAM account you agree that SOIC will use your personal data as long as it is needed. You can delete your profile at any time.

Prices and Payment (applicable to the deckhand position)

Applications are assessed and positions allocated before payment is required.
The prices are including VAT. All prices displayed on the website and SOIC PAAM web application are quoted in Swedish currency. If you would like to cancel after you applied, we refer to our payment and cancellation rules, which can be found when applying.
